  Home cooking and well worth any wait - Let me be clear.  I have been to this place off and on for 30 years.  This mother daughter team is the real deal.  They have apparently had the place for 5 years and I missed the boat.  Went in today as they often close for catering, or run out of food.  Which is a VERY good thing.
  
  The pork ribs were tender as could be.  The sauce was sweet and spice, just a delight.  The links were spice but not hot and the sauce complimented them perfectly.  I can't wait to go back and try the Sunday spread.  
  
  Again, worth the wait.  Now that I missed them for the last 5 years, I recommend a "Grand Opening" or "New owners" sign to get the word out.  I will  spread the word to all my peeps and hope to see greater things from these owners.

  Ok so I eventually was able to come here while they were open.  First of all the people were very nice.  Welcomed me in, we had a chit chat, nice people.
  On to my order.
  I wanted beef ribs which they had today so I ordered a full rack and a side of mac and cheese.  Drove home and started digging in.  Ok.  The mac and cheese was to die for!  But here is where I started getting slightly disappointed.  I bit into my first rib and it seemed to be re-heated which I dont mind but it definitely wasnt heated up enough.  Not enough to the point that it was still cold.  So that had me question if the ribs were bbq'd that day or leftover from the day before,or worse, a few days before. I guess I'll never know.  I give it a 3 star.  I'm usually not a picky person with food but I paid $50 and at least heat it up to the point where it is at least warm all the way through.  
  I did like the taste of the sauce and the ribs overall after I re-heated them myself.  But in general please heat them up properly for paying customers.  I hope this review doesnt come off as bad because I want to be that way.  But I had to share my experience with fellow yelpers.

  Awesome place with great Southern cooking.  The meat fell off the ribs.  Sauce had a good taste.  Looking forward to going back.  If you call 3 days in advanced, they can cook off the menu items.  Will see if I can get them to make turtle soup!

  Stopped by today and met Mae the owner.   Not only are the ribs and food outstanding,   This was the best customer service and she has a wonderful presence.
